You can have the personal data UTICOS holds about you deleted at any time. This page explains how.

Disconnect a Facebook Page or Instagram account

You can stop UTICOS from accessing a connected account in either of these ways:

  • In UTICOS: open Business profile and disconnect the account.
  • In Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select UTICOS and remove it.
  • In Instagram: go to Settings → Apps and websites, select UTICOS and remove it.

When an account is disconnected or UTICOS is removed, we delete its access tokens at once, cancel its scheduled posts, and delete the other data we received from Meta about it within 30 days.

Delete one business

  • In UTICOS: open Business profile → Business and choose Delete business, then type the business's name to confirm.

Its campaigns, posts, products, uploaded photos, generated photos and videos and its Facebook & Instagram connection are deleted at once. If it is your only business, your monthly plan is cancelled at the same time (no proration).

Delete your UTICOS account and data

  • In UTICOS: open Business profile → Account and choose Close account, then type your email to confirm; or
  • By email: write to technical@uticos.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my data". We may ask you to confirm the request, and we complete it within 30 days.

Closing your account in UTICOS cancels your monthly plan at once (no proration) and deletes your account, every business you own, uploaded photos, generated content and data received from Meta at once, and signs you out everywhere. Download anything you want to keep first. Backups are overwritten on our database provider's rolling cycle shortly after.

What we keep

We keep only what the law requires us to keep: billing and transaction records — payments, invoices and the COS ledger — for at least 7 years under UAE tax law, and a note that a free trial was used with your email address, so it cannot be claimed twice. They are not used for anything else.

Confirmation

We confirm by email when your data has been deleted. For any question, write to technical@uticos.com.
